Hello, welcome to The workshop florist, my names is Teresa and I am the business owner, and faux floral designer
The workshop is a flower studio based at my home in Old Basing,Basingstoke, Hampshire. It is where I design amazingly realistic faux flower arrangements using traditional floristry techniques.

I love creating faux floral creations for weddings, celebrations, occasions, decor. My style is luxurious garden inspired flowers.
I enjoy my job and I have been a florist for over 10 years. I trained as a fresh flower florist and have worked in Casa Flora Hook and The Flowers Girl Basingstoke . I now transfer my skills to faux flowers to produce the most realistic designs possible.

I am a floral fanatic and I am inspired by my love of natural plants and flowers. My favourite flowers are roses and sunflowers.
I have city and guilds floristry qualifications, and gardening qualifications.
I am DBS checked and fully insured.

Faux Floral Experts
I have a small group of lovely trusted faux floral freelance assistants who are always on hand to help me set up larger wedding installations where necessary.
You may see my daughter in the above picture helping at wedding fayres and set up, My husband carrying stuff about for me and my lovely floristry friends freelancing and working with me for the day, We all take great care in making sure your floral styling is beautifully created.

The Workshops green policy
Whilst I am not 100% enviromentally friendly I am eco conscious.  Faux flowers create little waste, they are imported by sea not air and can be re used.  I use eco friendly design methods where possible and I recycle all my boxes and packaging. I also use recycled glass where I can.  I offer a hire service for larger designs and a remake service to my wedding clients.
